Crawfish & Creole Music

Green Nohohon goes to the Crawfish Festival
From Friday, May 6th through Sunday, May 8, Pensacola held it's Crawfish Creole Festival on Historic Bartram Park in Downtown Pensacola. Green Nohohon, my brother, and I attended the Saturday event and had a great time listening to Creole and Zydeco music aswell as sampling some boiled crawfish cooked Cajun-style. For the children, the festival had crawfish racing and face painting. All in all, the event was great and we had fun eating crawfish.

Green Nohohon sees wind feathers with City of Pensacola's emblems.

Lots of people enjoying Creole music and hot crawfish.

Several food vendors offered more than crawfish.

This is where you get your hot boiled crawfish!

Green Nohohon and I have a little crawfish snack.

Green Nohohon finds the crawfish racing area!

Green Nohohon meets one of the racers. This was Number 14. We called him Al.

This event had enough Mountain Dew for everyone.
*This post is dedicated to all the moms of the Great Nohohon Adventure staff. Happy Mother's day!!!*

I'm curious... how much $ did the Great Nohohon pay the town to sell himself as the next great "pet-rock" fad on the public service web-page advertizing the crawfish/creole festival?
